Invitation and collateral that set the atmosphere
Creative design for Project Beauty Share’s Evening en Blanc event materials played with the elegant theme of the event.
Overview
Project Beauty Share provides personal hygiene, cosmetics and beauty products to non-profit organizations who serve women and families overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness, and poverty to help restore hope and dignity in their lives.
2018 marked the first Evening en Blanc fund-raising event for Project Beauty Share in Spokane. Guests, dressed in all white, enjoyed an elegant picnic, exquisite wine, live entertainment, and a silent auction. White is used for the event to symbolize a fresh start and new beginning and was featured prominently in the design of the collateral pieces.
The invitation, envelope, and program for Evening en Blanc 2018 featured white design, custom die cut elements, foil, and specialty paper.
The invitation holder was designed to emulate the opening of a flower. The custom die cut and fold made recipients feel like they were opening a gift to find their invitation. A white holographic foil was used on three pieces. Using the same die for each placement the visual affect was unified and provided savings for the overall budget. The invitation envelope was printed on 110# Pearl Ice Paper by GPA making the piece feel special and unifying the entire theme.
Results
As a result of the beautiful twilight event, Evening en Blanc raised more than $105,000 for the Project Beauty Share organization.
